Available Positions within SEPAC:

  • Vice President: The Vice President assists in overseeing SEPAC's operations and activities, supporting the President, and may lead specific initiatives. They work collaboratively with other board members to ensure the organization's objectives are achieved.
  • Treasurer: The Treasurer manages the financial aspects of SEPAC, maintaining records, creating budgets, and ensuring financial compliance. They report on the organization's financial status at meetings and handle financial transactions.
  • Secretary: The Secretary documents meeting proceedings, maintaining accurate records, and distributing minutes and official records to members. They may also handle correspondence and communications for the organization.
  • Parent Liaison: Serving as a bridge between SEPAC and parents of students with disabilities, the Parent Liaison offers support, information, and resources. They may also organize support groups and mentorship programs to enhance parent and caregiver engagement.
  • Event Coordinator: Responsible for planning and organizing SEPAC events that align with its mission. The Event Coordinator ensures that events are inclusive, well-executed, and achieve their intended goals, often collaborating with committees and volunteers for successful execution.
  • Outreach Coordinator: Managing communication and outreach efforts, the Outreach Coordinator engages and informs the community, maintains the SEPAC's online presence, and educates the broader community about special education issues while fostering relationships with external stakeholders.
