Spring Athletics Tryouts
To participate in spring athletics tryouts, students must have completed the Spring Athletics registration by the 3/13 deadline and submitted a current physical to District Nurse Leader Cathy Alix, RN at [email protected]
.
Please review the tryout information below and come prepared with appropriate athletic gear.
 
Track
Tuesday, March 17
3:00–5:00 PM
Meet outside the gym by Door E
Students should come prepared with running attire, sneakers, and water.
 
Men’s Volleyball
Tuesday, March 17
3:00–5:00 PM
Location: Gym
Please bring appropriate athletic attire.
 
Softball
Tuesday, March 17
3:00 PM – Meet in Room 221
Players will meet in Room 221 first. Weather permitting, tryouts will move outside from 3:00–5:00 PM.
Please bring your softball equipment and be prepared to go outside if conditions allow.
 
Baseball
Tuesday, March 17
3:00 PM – Meet in Room 147 (Middle School)
Players will meet in Room 147 in the Middle School first. Weather permitting, tryouts will move outside from 3:00–5:00 PM.
Please bring your baseball equipment and be prepared to go outside if conditions allow.
 
Flag Football
Wednesday, March 18
3:00 PM – Meet in Room 204
Players will meet in Room 204 first. Weather permitting, tryouts will move outside from 3:00–5:00 PM.
Please bring your football equipment and be prepared to go outside if conditions allow..

Foxborough Regional Charter School is proud to be a member of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA), giving our student-athletes the opportunity to compete at the state level while building teamwork, discipline, and school pride.

 

Students in grades 9–12 are eligible to participate in a variety of athletic programs throughout the year.

Additional Athletics Opportunities at FRCS

In addition to our MIAA sports for high school students, FRCS offers several exciting athletic opportunities open to students in grades 6–12. These teams give students the chance to build school spirit, teamwork, and athletic skills while competing outside of MIAA play.

Non-MIAA Sports (Grades 6–12):

  • Winter: Step/Dance, Cheer, Wrestling

  • Spring: Flag Football

Foxborough Regional Charter School Athletics Handbook

All Foxborough Regional Charter School student-athletes must agree to and sign the Athletic Handbook. Their parent/guardian must also sign to acknowledge their understanding of the expectations of these student leaders. Athletes represent FRCS and all our values throughout the season whether at home or away.
