Hello! My name is Dr. Eddie Ingram, and I'm the Interim Executive Director of Foxborough Regional Charter School. I want to thank you for our interest in our school! We’re celebrating 25 years as an academic institution.  I’d like to tell you a little bit more about our school, the enrollment process, and what you can expect when you come to campus on January 25th for our Elementary School Open House Event! 
So, why choose Foxborough Regional Charter School for your child? There are so many things that make our school an amazing place to learn and grow. 
As a charter school, Foxborough Regional Charter School is a school of choice, a different option than your sending school district.  Charter schools are public schools that operate under their own mission and vision and truly live into their unique philosophy. Our philosophy is to provide innovative academics as well as provide strong leadership skills and civic engagement. Our students Enter to Learn and Exit to Lead! 
Foxborough Regional Charter School is a K-12 school, and that is one of our greatest strengths.  Several members of our senior class have been learning at our school since kindergarten!  In those years between Kindergarten and Graduation, we build a true community of learners who stay connected! Our older students work with our younger students through our peer mentoring and tutoring programs.
One of our other greatest strengths is our diversity! We are proud of our diverse community. It provides an incredible opportunity to learn from each other.
Let’s talk about the admissions process. Admission to a charter school is gained through a lottery. You must apply – I hope you’ve already filled out your application on our website! - and be processed through our enrollment lottery on March 1st. Offers will be made to fill open seats. We keep a waitlist and make offers through February 15th each year – so if you do not get an offer directly following the lottery, don’t lose hope! Keep in mind – if you are not offered a seat and are interested in attending our school you will need to apply again next year. 
Finally, what can you expect when you arrive on campus for open house on Wednesday, January 25th? Our event is truly that – an open house! Drop in anytime between 6pm and 7:30pm to learn more about our school. There will be signage outside, directing you where to go. We will have information booths set up in our gym and building tours will be available. You’ll have a chance to see our classrooms, meet teachers, and staff as well as parents of current students. If you’d like to bring your children with you, they are more than welcome to attend our event. Members of the Foxborough Regional Charter School chapter of the national honor society will have some fun activities set up in the cafeteria!  We’re looking forward to seeing you and thank you again for your interest in Foxborough Regional Charter School!
