School Counseling

Mission Statement

The mission of the School Counseling/Guidance Department at Foxborough Regional Charter School is to provide a comprehensive, developmental program which addresses the academic, college/career, and personal/social needs of all students. In collaboration with school staff, parents/guardians, and the community, the school guidance program will facilitate access for every student to school services and supports to achieve the best possible academic outcomes, help students gain the knowledge and skills to achieve their post-secondary education and career goals, and prepare them to be meaningful contributors to society.

Middle School Counseling Program Guide

The Middle School Counseling Program at Foxborough Regional Charter School provides a comprehensive, developmental approach to supporting every student’s academic, social-emotional, and future-readiness growth. Through collaboration with families, teachers, and the community, the program combines proactive school counseling and specialized adjustment counseling to help students build critical life skills, self-awareness, and independence. Guided by the Massachusetts School Counselors Association model, counselors deliver individual and group counseling, classroom lessons, and crisis intervention while fostering a strong school-family partnership through communication, events, and resources like the “Counseling Corner" (see below). Learn more through our School Counseling Department Brochure.
Counseling Corner

The Counseling Department is developing resources to help FRCS families navigate the important transition through middle school—a time of rapid academic, social, and emotional growth. To support students in becoming independent, confident learners, the department has launched the “Counseling Corner,” a growing collection of videos, guides, and tools designed to strengthen the school-family partnership. Families are encouraged to explore these resources and reach out to a counselor with any questions.
