Incident Reporting at FRCS

 

The Foxborough Regional Charter School is committed to creating a safe, caring, respectful learning environment for all students and community members.  We have clear district policies that prohibit bullying (including cyberbullying and retaliation for reporting bullying), and discrimination in all forms (including harassment and retaliation for reporting discrimination). 

 

These policies also include specific procedures for investigating and responding to any complaints or incidents that are reports. 

 

We encourage any member of our community who experiences, witnesses, or is made aware of an alleged incident of bullying, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, hate, or discrimination, to please report it immediately. Members of the FRCS community may report incidents to:

 

Official reports of incidents of bullying and cyberbullying may also be submitted using the  online FRCS Bullying Prevention and Intervention Incident Reporting Form or submit in hard copy to any FRCS school office.

These policies and procedures are an integral part of the Foxborough Regional Charter School’s comprehensive effort to foster learning within a safe and supportive school environment. 

 

Furthermore, complaints alleging conduct that may constitute sex discrimination or sexual harassment under the federal Title IX statute will be addressed through the FRCS’s separate Title IX grievance procedures, where applicable.

 

FRCS community members also have the right to report incidents outside of our internal FRCS processes, by contacting the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education or the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights.
