About FRCS

Foxborough Regional Charter School (FRCS) is a high performing regional public school district, serving approximately 1500 students and families from over 25 cities and towns in Southeastern Massachusetts. FRCS is composed of three state-of-the-art school buildings–an elementary, middle, and high school–all located on our suburban campus just outside of Foxborough center.  Our charter includes a focus on service leadership and global learning, and Spanish is taught to all students starting in kindergarten.  The district is an outstanding public school option for both families from suburban communities looking for a more diverse public school district and for families from urban areas looking for a public school option with high expectations, strong support systems, and positive outcomes for all children.  

 

One of the earliest charter schools created in Massachusetts, FRCS has evolved tremendously since its founding in 1998. Growing from a small K-8 school, we are now a full-sized school district comparable in size to our neighboring towns, and the 6th largest charter school district in the state. Over the past decade, FRCS has become increasingly diverse, representing not just the populations of our immediate surrounding towns of Foxborough, Mansfield and North Attleboro, but of the entire region, including cities such as Brockton, Attleborough, and Taunton, as well as numerous smaller communities throughout the area. Our FRCS families come from many different cultures, backgrounds, languages, and life experiences, reflecting the diversity of communities across Massachusetts. We welcome multilingual learners, students with disabilities, immigrant families, and families from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds, and we are committed to creating an inclusive community that supports the academic and personal success of each student in our district.
