Save the Date: Grade 4 Graduation

Grade 4 families: Please save the date!

We will be celebrating our Grade 4 students with a graduation ceremony on Friday, June 9th at 6pm. The event will be held in MS/HS gym on the FRCS campus. (Enter at Door E)

From the Grade 4 Graduation Committee:

Dear 4th Grade Parents and Guardians;

Your students will be taking part in the very first 4th grade graduation at FRCS this Friday, June 9, 2023.

The students are very excited about their big day! On behalf of the entire 4th Grade Graduation committee, we'd like to share a few logistics with you so that the event will be a huge success.

Arrival Time
Please have your student in the MS/HS cafeteria at 5:30 PM (Door G).  Parents are not invited into the cafeteria. Staff members will be there to welcome your student. Plan to drop your student off at the cafeteria and then head over to find your perfect seat in the MS/HS gymnasium (Enter at Door E). The graduation will start promptly at 6PM.

A reminder that space is limited in the gymnasium. Please pre-register a maximum of 3 people per student prior to the event no later than Wednesday, June 7th. You will need to check-in at the check-in table before entering the gym.

End of School Day Pickup
Teachers will not be available to supervise your child between the end of the school day and the beginning of graduation.  Please plan for proper dismissal arrangements.

Graduation Pictures
During the graduation, photographers will be taking photos of your students as they are presented their certificates. We ask that parents please stay in their seats at this time, and do not stand up take photos from the gymnasium floor. Photos will be made available to families in the days following the event. There will be time after the ceremony if you'd like to take additional photos.

Gifts
We know that you are excited to see your child's graduation ceremony. Due to allergies, we ask that you do not bring balloons to the graduation.

Attire
You do not need to send your child to the graduation in their school dress code. However, because this is a  graduation ceremony, we ask that your student is dressed for the occasion.

Volunteers
We are grateful to the families who have volunteered to support this fantastic event. There is still a need for parent/guardian volunteers, especially directly following the event during clean up/break down. Please click here to let us know if you're available to help. We are also accepting donations for the "snack table" that will be available during graduation. Please use the same sign-up genius to let us know if you're able to donate a snack or bottled water.

This is going to be a beautiful 4th grade graduation. See you there!

Sincerely,

The 4th Grade Graduation Committee
