Haitian Flag Day

Haitian Flag Day

On Thursday, May 18, 2023, FRCS will be celebrating Haitian Flag day!

Haitian Flag Day commemorates the country’s independence from the French. The flag was hoisted for the first time on this day in 1803, and the people came together to establish the country’s first republic. This day represents liberation and embodies the cultural heritage and resilience of the Haitian people.

In observance of Haitian Flag Day, we welcome all students to participate in a dress down day by wearing red, blue, and white in honor of the Haitian Flag.
