Each week, we recognize our student athletes who are excelling on and off the field or court. We're pleased to announce that Iris Delgado is the Foxborough Regional Charter School student athlete of the week!
Iris is a Senior at FRCS, and is the captain of the Girl’s Basketball team. Her favorite class is Math because of her teacher, Mr. Guptil. Iris says Mr. Guptil treats his students with respect which makes for a great learning environment. Ms. Engle is Iris' favorite teacher here at FRCS. She says Ms. Engle is always there to talk with her about school, basketball and life in general. Iris' favorite athlete is LeBron James - she says, “He is the GOAT!” Iris’ hobbies include cleaning and cooking. She really enjoys making different kinds of pasta. Iris said her favorite food is steak and mashed potatoes.
From her coaches: "Iris is a leader on and off the basketball court. She has been the backbone of the FRCS girls basketball season not only this year but in seasons past. She is a role model to the younger players on the team. She gives 100% on the court and her effort rubs off on her teammates! A great captain!"
