FRCS SNHS Share Knowledge of the Day of the Dead

Members of the FRCS Chapter of the Spanish National Honor Society visited the Elementary School this week to help younger students learn about the Day of the Dead.

The Day of the Dead, which is celebrated mostly in Mexico on November 1 and 2, is a joyful time that helps people remember their deceased family members and celebrate their memory.

SNHS visited three different classrooms. The high school students presented a lesson that discussed the significance of the day. The Elementary School students did some coloring of sugar skulls, and even did some dancing!

This is an example of our K-12 community in action!  It's wonderful to watch our older students share their knowledge with our younger students!
