Each week, we recognize our student athletes who are excelling on and off the field or court. We're pleased to announce that Claire Martin Neill is the Foxborough Regional Charter School student athlete of the week.
Claire is a Sophomore at FRCS, and a captain of the Cross Country team. Claire is also a member of the FRCS track team in the Spring. Her favorite class is AP Biology. She says it is the hardest class she currently takes but it is the most interesting. Claire's favorite athlete of all time is Lionel Messi - a professional soccer player from Argentina. Claire said "It's Messi, he's the greatest!" Claire’s hobbies include theatre and playing instruments, including the guitar and piano. Her lifetime goal is to play at least 10 instruments! Her favorite food of all time is Soup Dumplings.
From Claire's coaches: "Claire is only a Sophomore and already is a captain of the team. Her lead by example style of leadership rubs off on all her teammates - she is an excellent leader! At the MCSAO Championship Cross Country Meet Claire took home third overall in the women's division. Quite an accomplishment!"
