Additional Details for Families: Scholastic Book Fair Kicks Off Next Week!

 

Foxborough Regional Charter School's Family Empowerment Alliance (FEA) will be holding a Scholastic Book Fair for Elementary School students Monday, October 23rd through Friday, October 27th! 

 

Students in grades K-4 will have an opportunity to attend the book fair during the school day with their class and shop for books. 

 

Flyers will be sent home with students ahead of the book fair. You can also view the flyer online.

Payment Information

Families can create an e-wallet for their child so that they can shop the book fair without cash. Please click HERE to set up your child's e-wallet.

You can choose to send cash with your child, but kindly ensure that the envelope includes the following information:

• Your child's name
• Classroom and teacher's name
• The amount enclosed

To streamline the process, FEA will round up the change to the nearest dollar, making it easier for everyone involved. If you prefer not to have your child participate, kindly write so on the envelope.

Raffle!

To add to the excitement, FEA is organizing a daily $1 Raffle where your child has a chance to win a free book. It's a fun way to encourage reading and a great opportunity for your child to build their own library. FEA is proud to announce that the funds raised will be used towards the 4th grade celebration event.

Consider Donating Books

Additionally, FEA is inviting you to donate any books you have that your children are no longer using (gently used) to our ES library. A donation box will be placed in the ES lobby where you can drop them. Your support will help to create a rich and diverse reading environment for all our students.

Family Shopping Ahead of FEA Family Night on Thursday!

FEA also invites you to a special evening of family time at the Book Fair. On Thursday, October 26th, from 5-6 pm, you can shop for books with your family. This will be followed by a Family Night, from 6:30 - 7:30 pm, where you can meet and connect with other wonderful parents of FEA.

You can also shop the book fair online between October 23rd and November 5th! 

 

Parent/guardian volunteers are needed to help make this book fair a success! If you're available to help, please click here to sign up for a shift! 

 

All FRCS volunteers must have a CORI on file with the school. A new CORI form must be completed at the beginning of every school year.
