Assistance Available for Families Struggling with Food Insecurity

Has your financial situation changed recently?  As the cost of groceries continue to go up, we want to remind FRCS families that financial assistance is available.

Please note that even though school meals are free for all students this year, it is very important that families who may qualify complete the household Application for Free and Reduced Price Meals for the 2022-2023 school year. You can view and complete the application here. We strongly encourage families to submit this form if they haven't already done so because it allows us to establish eligibility for P-EBT benefits and serve families most effectively. Please click here for additional information and to view the eligibility guideline chart for free/reduced benefits.

In addition, please consider applying for SNAP, the federal nutrition program that provides eligible residents with monthly financial assistance to purchase groceries. More SNAP information can be found at gettingsnap.org or by calling Project Bread’s FoodSource Hotline at 1-800-645-8333. You can visit Project Bread's website here.
