Ramadan (March 10th - April 9th) is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community
We recognize that our practicing Muslim students may be fasting from dawn until dusk and may also be involved in prayer until late at night.
Elementary School: Should your Elementary School child need an alternate placement during breakfast, snack or lunch time or a quiet place to pray, it is available to them! Please reach out to your child's teacher.
Middle School: We understand that our Middle School students who observe Ramadan may benefit from various supports during the school day, such as lunch time provisions or designated quiet spaces. Please contact your student’s middle school counselor to discuss how we can best provide support at this time. This Ramadan may your fasting be easy, your prayers be answered, and your heart be filled with faith.
