Important Reminder from the School Nurse: Do Not Come to School Sick!

If your child is experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, they should stay home from school.

Keeping your child home when sick is the number one way to protect other scholars, teachers and staff from getting sick.

Regardless of yours or your child’s COVID-19 vaccination status, students who have the following symptoms should stay home from school:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion
  • Runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
If your child is exhibiting any of these symptoms, please contact your building nurse:
Important Reminder:
Masks are required inside the school buildings, and on-board the school buses at all times. Please have your student bring more than one mask to school in case it breaks or is soiled. Neck gators, masks with valves and bandanas are not accepted.

Reminder for families of students requiring a negative COVID test to return to school:
Home COVID tests will not be accepted. Only lab or MD preformed PCR or molecular COVID testing will be accepted by FRCS.

Thank you for your continued support and for keeping our FRCS community safe.
