During the week of February 10, 2020, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s (DESE’s) Office of Special Education will conduct a Tiered Focused Monitoring Review of Foxborough Charter School. The Office of Special Education visits each district and charter school every six years to monitor compliance with federal and state special education laws and regulations.
Parent outreach is an important part of the review process. A representative from the Office of Special Education will be at Foxborough Regional Charter School on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in Elementary School Room 165 to provide a parent orientation. Parents are invited to come learn about how district special education and civil rights practices are reviewed. All families of students in grades K-12 receiving special education services at Foxborough Regional Charter School are encouraged to attend this orientation.
Please use this Sign Up Genius to RSVP! Childcare will be provided for families who attend this orientation.
Contact Lissette Ilaria at 508-698-7244 with questions about the parent orientation or review.
