Congratulations to the Foxborough Regional Charter School Class of 2026

Foxborough Regional Charter School (FRCS) proudly celebrated its 23rd graduation ceremony today, honoring the remarkable achievements of the Class of 2026. Surrounded by family, friends, educators, and mentors, the graduates crossed the stage, ready to take on the future with the confidence and purpose that define the FRCS motto: “Enter to Learn, Exit to Lead.”

Throughout their time at FRCS, the Class of 2026 has exemplified leadership, academic excellence, and a deep commitment to service. Many have spent their entire 13-year educational journeys at FRCS, growing into thoughtful, capable leaders ready to make a meaningful impact on the world.

The theme of the evening was centered on shared community and the power of turning potential into action. Executive Director Toby N. Romer shared an anecdote from a second-grade classroom where a student realized that "we are all the owners of FRCS." Romer echoed this sentiment to the graduates, stating, "Never forget, Falcons of the Class of 2026... we are all owners and caretakers of the Foxborough Regional Charter School. In whatever way you choose, remember that this will always be your school."

Class President Saanvi Kumar centered her address on gratitude. She urged her classmates to stay present and appreciate the immense sacrifices of the families, educators, and immigrant communities that paved the way for their success. “I don’t really think of this as the ending; it’s just one of those rare moments where everything is still here all at once, right before it starts becoming another memory,” Kumar said. “And before it does, I just want to say thank you... to the people who got us here and to ourselves, for making it possible.”

Salutatorian Mukilan Dayasankar challenged his peers to live "boldly, and without regrets," drawing inspiration from philosophers and the resilient paths of their parents. “Instead of being limited by what is presented before us, we must create our own opportunities,” Dayasankar emphasized, reminding the class that they have a lifetime of potential ahead. “You must live with the valour and vigilance to actualize your own potential.”

The collective power of the class was highlighted in a speech by faculty speaker and class advisor, Chris Langlois. Langlois shed light on the historic academic transformation currently taking place at FRCS, noting that the Class of 2026 achieved an incredible 98% college acceptance rate, earned over $1 million in merit scholarships.

Rejecting the philosophical idea that we exist in isolation, Langlois stated, "I propose that we exist because of the people around us... Without you, my students, I would not be a teacher." He challenged the graduates to carry their roots with pride: “You have inquiring minds and strong spirits inherited from your ancestors... I, and they, have full faith in you.”

Valedictorian Jay Bhatia closed out the student addresses with a powerful call to action, drawing a distinction between dreaming and doing. Citing historical figures like Thomas Edison, Marie Curie, and Malala Yousafzai, Bhatia reminded his class that blueprints do not build houses. “Tonight we begin to build. Tonight we begin to do,” Bhatia declared. “Turn your blueprint into something the world can see.”

As Assistant Principal Lizz Pavao instructed the graduates to turn their tassels from right to left, the gym erupted in celebration for a class that has officially left its indelible mark on Foxborough Regional Charter School and is prepared to lead the world.
