Each week, we recognize our student athletes who are excelling on and off the field or court. We're pleased to announce that Isaiah Combs is the Foxborough Regional Charter School student athlete of the week!
Isaiah is a Sophomore at FRCS, and a member of the Men’s Basketball team. He also played quarterback for the FRCS Flag Football Team. Isaiah's favorite class is Facing History because it's taught by his favorite teacher Mr. Obenchain. He says Mr. Obenchain makes the class fun with interesting topics, and says he is a fun energetic teacher. Isaiah's favorite athlete is LeBron James. He grew up watching LeBron play basketball and says he is fun to watch! Isaiah’s hobbies include video games and watching TV. When it comes to his favorite food there is a lot, but one of Isaiah's favorite meals is chicken and rice because it's a great pre-game meal!
From his coaches: "Isaiah has been a leader on the basketball team from day one! He leads by example. This season he never missed a game or a practice! His contributions to the team on and off the court are one of his strongest attributes. Isaiah was named a league All-Star and also a member of the starting 5 for All League in the MCSAO for the 23-24 season."
