Meet Our FRCS Student Athlete of the Week!

On Fridays, we recognize our student athletes who are excelling on and off the field or court. We're pleased to announce that Abdullah Hegazi is the Foxborough Regional Charter School Student Athlete of the week!
Abdullah is a Senior at FRCS, and a member of the Soccer team. Abdullah's favorite classes this year are Anatomy & Physiology with Mr. Pavao and AP Biology with Mr. DiPaolo (his favorite teacher). One of Abdullah's favorite things about FRCS and Senior year is the Senior Privilege program implemented by Mr. Cournoyer and says he appreciates how it gives Seniors more freedom, but also responsibility and makes campus feel more college-like. Abdullah's favorite professional athlete is Ronaldo due to his mentality towards improving and growth mindset. His favorite meal is a nice home cooked shawarma sandwich.
Abdullah has been an important factor in the team's first two games this season already scoring five goals! From Coach DiPaolo: "Abdullah is a coach's dream. He is naturally athletic, strong, smart, but most importantly he wants to get better every time he steps out on the pitch. He may not be the most vocal person, but his actions speak loudly about the quality player he has developed into.  He is the epitome of a student athlete. Abdullah has a calm focused demeanor within the classroom and field always wanting to achieve high levels of success. He is a great teammate helping and raising the level of all around him. Though he may not seek the spotlight he is certainly deserving of it."
Congratulations, Abdullah!
