END OF THE YEAR REMINDERS FROM THE NURSE

The end of the school year is fast approaching.

Please remember to pick up your child’s medication.

Medications will not be stored over the summer months or sent home with your child. Medications must be picked up by and adult the last day of school by 10:00 am.

 

Is your child attending FRCS Extended school year school?

There will be a nurse here to administer mediations needed during school hours.  Please coordinate with the nurse the 1st day of school year.

COVID at home testing will be available for all students attending school during the summer months. Parents will need to complete the consent forms for the at home antigen testing program. (more to follow) 

 

Planning for next year:

 

Fill your epi pens and emergency medications early! Pharmacies run out at the beginning of the school year.

 

Obtain a prescription for school from your child’s doctor.

Complete the parent consent form found on the school website.

All medications administered in school needs to be coordinated with the school nurse.

*Medications should be dropped off by an adult in the original prescription labeled container.

 

Students entering grade K, 4,7 ,10 and 11 will need to have updated physicals and immunizations submitted to the nurses office for the beginning of the school year.

 

Will your child be trying out for sports next year?

Make sure the school nurse has a physical for your student athlete completed within the last 360 days prior to try outs.
