Over the past month, eight Foxborough Regional Charter School high school students participated in the National History Day State competition. Two of our students walked away with special prizes!
Yashaswi Panamakuri, Grade 9, won Best Use of Letters as a Primary Source.
Grade 9 student Bethsaida Accino won a prize for Best Project in Early American History. Her project will also be part of the Massachusetts Historical Society Juneteenth Exhibit.

Each year, National History Day frames students’ research within a historical theme. The theme is chosen for broad application to world, national, or state history and its relevance to ancient history or to the more recent past. The 2020-2021 theme is Communication in History: The Key to Understanding.
