Coping During Crisis
Disasters can leave children and teens feeling frightened, confused and insecure. Their responses can be quite varied. It's important to not only recognize these reactions, but also help children cope with their emotions.

Check out this resource from Ready.gov and this one from the Centers for Disease Control that talk about how to help your child cope with Coronavirus concerns.

In addition, our Middle School counseling team has compiled this list of smartphone apps that can help students and their families reduce stress and anxiety during challenging times. Don't forget, it's ok to ask for help! The team has also compiled this list of numbers to call if you need help or support. As always, call 911 in the case of an emergency.
