Our Playground Build Day is just around the corner! On October 1st we will join volunteers from the New England Patriots, UnitedHealthCare, and Kaboom to assemble a BRAND NEW state -of-the-art PLAYGROUND on our Elementary School grounds for our K-4 students to enjoy!
BUT... We need your help to make this happen!
We are asking the FRCS community to volunteer some time on Saturday, September 28th (Prep Day) and/or Tuesday, October 1st. (Build Day) We will be assembling the playground between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, but if even if you're available for just a few hours to lend a hand - we'd appreciate your help!
You don't need to be a construction worker to volunteer! Anyone over age 16 can participate! If you can lift, dig, rake or carry -- your help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank YOU for supporting our students!
More about our Playground Project:
Foxborough Regional Charter School was recently selected to partner with KaBOOM to bring this new playground to our community! On July 23rd, a design committee of staff members, students, and parents came together to discuss and review playground options. Together, we've come up with a design that will look a lot like this!
The funding partner of this project is UnitedHealthCare, with support from the New England Patriots. KaBOOM is the organizing partner of the project -- they are a national non-profit dedicated to giving all kids the childhood they deserve through great, safe places to play.
As the community partner in this project, we're asking our families and friends of FRCS to come together to help us make this new playground a reality! We'll be joining over 100 volunteers from UnitedHealthCare on build day!
