FRCS Program Overview and Vision for Multilingual Learner Education

At Foxborough Regional Charter School, we are committed to ensuring that multilingual learners thrive in an inclusive, academically rigorous, and culturally responsive learning environment. We believe that the success of our multilingual learners is a shared responsibility across the entire school community—where every educator is empowered and accountable for advancing students’ academic and linguistic growth.

Our multilingual learners are taught by highly effective, well-prepared, and culturally responsive educators who hold high expectations for all students. Educators have access to the tools, curriculum, and professional development necessary to support students in developing both content knowledge and English language proficiency simultaneously.

We value and celebrate the cultural and linguistic assets that our multilingual learners bring to the FRCS community. These assets are seen as foundational to student learning and achievement. Our families are essential partners in the educational journey, and we are committed to building strong, collaborative relationships that support student success.

At FRCS, multilingual learners are provided equitable access to meaningful learning opportunities that foster critical thinking, creativity, and global citizenship. We ensure that students receive the academic, linguistic, social, and emotional supports needed to succeed not only in school but beyond.

Our vision is for every multilingual learner at FRCS to graduate prepared to excel in college and career pathways of their choosing and to contribute meaningfully to their communities in an interconnected world.
