Meet Our FRCS Student Athlete of the Week!

Each week, we recognize our student athletes who are excelling on and off the field, court, or in this case - the ice! We're pleased to announce that Camila Chan is the Foxborough Regional Charter School student athlete of the week.

Camila is a 9th grade student at FRCS. She began figure skating when she was five years old, and has been competing individually at figure skating competitions ever since.

Camila and her ice skating theater on ice team (OSIT) will be representing the USA at Bordeaux, France, in April for the Nations’ Cup. Competitions that include 47 teams of skaters from France, Italy, Spain, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden and the USA will begin on April 25th.

The Ocean State Ice Theater guaranteed its participation at the Nations’ Cup by winning a silver medal and best original theme/story-line award in 2023 at the Nationals competition that was held in Fraser, Michigan.

As an individual competitor, Camila medaled in 3 out of the 4 competitions she participated in 2023 at the Pre-Juvenile well balanced level. She also improved her best personal scores by 6 points during the season.

Let's show some FALCON PRIDE for Camila, and wish her good luck as she represents Team USA at her upcoming competition in France!
