Meal Benefits Application

Even though meals will be free for all, it is very important that families who may qualify complete the household Application for Free and Reduced Price Meals for the 2023-2024 school year.  We strongly encourage families to submit this form as it allows us to establish eligibility for P-EBT benefits and serve families most effectively. Please click on the media release below for more information and to view the eligibility guideline chart for free/reduced benefits.
If you would like further assistance in accessing food resources, Project Bread’s FoodSource Hotline (1-800-645-8333)  is available to connect you to food resources as well as provide information about elder meals programs and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as food stamps. The Hotline will continue to operate Monday-Friday, 8am-7pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm, and can provide information in 180 languages.  There is also a dedicated line for those that are hearing impaired. More information can also be found at gettingsnap.org

Supply Shortages

Foxborough Regional Charter School is asking for your patience and support as we navigate this continuing challenge. As you may be aware, we are currently faced with unprecedented shortages of food and packaging materials, massive delays or cancellations of deliveries. Nationwide shortages and delays have affected availability of certain food items, leading to substitutions of menu items we've been able to offer regularly in the past. These supply issues are occurring throughout the country and are especially challenging for school districts due to the quantity of meals we serve and the nutrition standards we follow.

All of this means that we may need to make quick substitutions to our menus based upon what we are able to acquire. We know that this affects students, and we are doing our best to provide updates about menu changes when possible as soon as we identify an issue.

Please know that our number one priority continues to be providing healthy, nutritious and appetizing meals for your children. We appreciate your support and patience as we continue to offer meals at no charge for all students.
