On February 28, 2020 the Foxborough Police Department, in conjunction with Safe Kids Worldwide and MA Child Passenger Safety Program, funded by the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security will be hosting a car seat checkup.
The car seat checkup will be held at the Foxborough Police Department at 8 Chestnut Street, Foxborough, MA 02035 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m by appointment only
Keeping kids safe in the car is one of our most important jobs as parents and caregivers.
- Car crashes are one of the leading causes of death and injury for kids. Proper use of car seats helps keep children safer in the event of a crash.
- Car seats reduce the risk of injury by over 71% and reduce the risk of death by 28% in comparison to children restrained by seat belts only.
- Booster seats reduce the risk of non-fatal injuries in a crash by 45% among four-to-eight year olds.
To set up an appointment for February 28, 2020 please send an email to Officer Will - Foxborough Regional Charter School's School Resource Officer.
