Spier Family SPLASH Program Open to FRCS Students in Grades K-1!

K-1 children attending the Foxborough Regional Charter School can now receive FREE swim lessons as part of the SPLASH program at the Hockomock Area YMCA Invensys Foxboro Branch!

Through the incredible generosity of the Spier Family Foundation, SPLASH combines the love of swimming with the critical importance of teaching water safety skills.

A basic overview of SPLASH includes:

  • The SPLASH program located only at the Invensys Foxboro YMCA will give the opportunity for K-1st graders to receive FREE swim lessons (up to 8 weeks).
  • SPLASH will run 5x a school year starting in September and concluding the beginning of June.
  • Parents must provide the flyer at time of sign up. Click on the PDF document below to download and print!
  • Sign-ups for SPLASH must be done in person at the YMCA, as the flyer needs to be presented.
  • Those currently or previously enrolled in YMCA swim programs can participate.
  • SPLASH is not a specific class.  Children will still take classes based upon their level and time availability.
  • SPLASH is funded 100% by the Spier Family Foundation geared to having all children of all means take FREE swim lessons.
  • SPLASH is only offered and applicable at the Invensys Foxboro YMCA - 67 Mecnhanic St., Foxboro.

FRCS is thrilled to work with such amazing community partners as the Spier Family Foundation and the Hockomock Area YMCA.  These opportunities provide our students wonderful experiences and life-long skills, and we greatly appreciate these collaborative efforts.

Please contact Sheila Riley at the Hockomock Area YMCA at 508-772-1324 with any questions.
