Comprehensive Developmental School Counseling Program
The goal of a comprehensive, developmental school counseling program is to continually help improve the outcomes for all students in academic, career/college, and social/personal areas. The American School Counselor Association (ASCA – www.schoolcounselor.org) and the Massachusetts Association of School Counselors (MASCA – www.masca.org) have published models as guidelines for school counseling departments to use to design and implement programming. At FRCS, we have been building a program for several years. The document link below provides a visual timeline of some of the major proramming components that have been added.
