    2006-2007 Committee Goals

    Personnel Committee
    William Buckley, Chair

    a) recommending overall compensation levels and potential salary band shifts
    b) researching a system to link teacher bonuses/compensation to student performance
    c) developing a system to evaluate and compensate non-teaching personnel
    d) annually revising employee and student handbooks
    e) evaluating and recommending additional programs/resources for teacher retention

     

    Curriculum Committee

    Cynthia McGinty, Chair

    a) continuing to revise/align curriculum maps with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and integrate technology with curriculum.

    b) linking curriculum to assessments and continue to build data analysis literacy.

    c) identifing programs that support and celebrate curriculum.

     

    Technology Committee
    Lori Rudd, Chair

    (1) Technology Integration

    a) identifying resources that support technology integration (eg, projectors, software, internet, etc.)

    b) identifying and providing training that supports technology integration (Single & Multi Computer classroomsComputer Labs, Microsoft Powerpoint, etc)

    c) adding/Integrating technology resources into the curriculum maps.

     

    (2) Technology Curriculum and Integration-School Courses

    a) identifying elective courses for upper school students to prepare them to be competitive in technology for            college and/or the business environment.

    (3) Extracurricular Technology

    a) developing an internship program with area companies for the students and staff, both short and long term

    b) identifying technology related programs that can be developed into charter clubs by the students

    c) beginning to develop a corporate mentoring program

     

    Enrollment Committee
    Lori Rudd, Chair

    a) developing and implementing a strategic plan to reduce the annual number of student withdrawals from the school
    b) coordinating the annual open house
    c) developing and coordinating grade-specific/academic-specific open houses for existing families
    d) overseeing the K-12 school lottery process

     

    Facilities Committee
    William Buckley, Chair

    a) identifying and coordinating project-specific action plans for facility improvement, such as library/media center, playgrounds, classroom saunas, etc.
    b) identifying long-term facility needs for brick and mortar expansion

     

    Development Committee
    Kelly Coyne-Wilson, Chair

    a) developing solicitation materials

    b) creating/ fostering relationships in the community

    c) working with internal groups and Board committees to identify fundraising/budget needs
