    Development Philosophy

FRCS supports the concept that teachers who understand theory and practice will implement new strategies in their classrooms.  FRCS formed a professional development committee during 2004-2005 that continues to plan training and support activities for staff members in the areas of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and technology.  The professional development committee surveyed teachers and identified areas of focus for the 2005-2006 year.
