The 100th day of school is one of the most important days during the school year! Several grades have fun activities, assignments and projects in Math leading up to the 100th day. In Kindergarten students are challenged to use 100 different ways to represent the number 100 on hats, vests and glasses of their own creation. On Day 100 (Monday, February 12, 2018) there was a celebration throughout the Elementary School when all five Kindergarten classes proudly paraded through the halls wearing their creations and sharing them with the other grades.

Each kindergarten class collected 100 items for the @FoxboroughPD Care Packages for Troops program.  For example Mrs. Solivan’s class collected packages of gum – they actually collected 184 packages!

The donations will be sent to local soldiers deployed worldwide.  FRCS School Resource Officer Frank Azevedo and Ptl. Kurt Pollister, who also holds the rank of Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army, addressed each classroom full of students.  If you would like to donate to to the @FoxboroughPD Care Packages program, they have a bin set up in the front lobby of the Public Safety Building.
