General Lottery Procedures

- Each application received prior to the predetermined deadline will be assigned a unique number. The unique number will be matched with an identical numbered marker for the purposes of lottery selection.
- All numbered markers will be randomly picked.
- When a numbered marker is picked, the number shall be matched to an application and assigned to the kindergarten class or waiting list.
- If a valid application, as outlined in Section II (Applications), is mishandled by the Administration, then the following procedure will be implemented:
- If a Lottery was Not Required - The student will be offered a position.
- If a Lottery was Required - A number from all of the numbers (i.e. applications originally included in the lottery) will be randomly picked. The student will be placed directly after the randomly picked number. Accordingly, the student will be offered a position or placed on the waiting list as outlined in Section IV (Waiting List).
