Important Message from Dr. Logan
Important Message from Dr. Logan
Dear Families,
As you may know, each year we conduct a confidential parent satisfaction survey. In past years, families received the survey through the mail and were requested to complete and submit it to a third party contractor. This vendor, SchoolWorks, would then compile the information, analyze it, and report out the findings. We would subsequently receive this report and share it with our school community and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
As so many of us have become accustomed to working electronically, this year we attempted to conduct this same survey online. While the information and strong support from families was evident through this year’s online results, showing similar strong satisfaction across many measures, we did not receive a large number of responses. In fact, wereceived approximately 15% of what we historically receive. Even though the results of this year’s smaller sample are consistent with past year’s results, I am not comfortable … Read the rest

Term 3 Final Exam Important Information
With the end of the year fast approaching, we’d like to remind students and their families about the importance of preparing for final exams.
In grades K-5, each grade level determines a unique order to their subject level exams based on the needs of the students in that grade.
In grades 6-12, all students take the same subject exam on the same day. The schedule of exams is as follows:
- Thursday, June 20: Spanish and Science
- Friday, June 21: History and all Concentration Courses (high school only)
- Monday, June 24: English
- Tuesday, June 25: Mathematics
It is important to know that students are not allowed to take a final exam early (prior to the administration of that exam to their peers). However, we recognize that summer plans certainly come into play this time of year so if a student is not present on the day of the exam, he or she can take that … Read the rest
