K-4 Dads! Don’t Miss the Watch DOGS (Dads Of Great Students) Program Kick Off Pizza Party!

WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Studentsis an innovative program being used by schools across America to positively impact schools by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their student’s life.

*Dads, granddads, uncles, step-dads and adult brothers . . . this is your chance to have a night out alone with your student in a fun atmosphere at school.

All you need to do is:

Picture RETAKE Day – December 6, 2017

Coffee Pond Photography RETAKE Day

If you are not completely satisfied with your portrait and would like to try again, you have the opportunity for a free retake. FRCS School Retake Day is Wednesday, 12/6/17. Be sure to mark your calendar!

Please return the entire, undamaged portrait package to the photographer on Retake Day. If your child has a class photo, please keep it!

Write any suggestions for the photographer on a piece of paper so it shows through the envelope window.  Retake Day is rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the portraits will be taken indoors against a neutral backdrop.

Elementary School Don’t Miss Morning Coffee with the Principal!

This year, in place of the  “Director’s Breakfast”, we are holding Coffee with the Principals. Elementary School Coffee with the Principal is scheduled for Friday, December 1 at 8:00am in the cafeteria at the Elementary School. Dr. Logan will make an appearance to talk about Whole School initiatives and Mrs. Benson will be on hand to share information about K-4 school programming, academic achievements, activities, coffee and muffins! This informal gathering is a great way to connect with Mrs. Benson and other parents as you learn about our school! Please note this is not a time for individual discussions about your child. PJ Day in Kindergarten Kicking off Letters P and J & Collecting for Food Pantry

In conjunction with letters “p” and “j” students in the CSL (Community Service Learning) Kindergarten class were given the opportunity to wear pajamas to school.

As part of Community Service Learning they collected cans for the local Foxboro Food Pantry!

Thank you to all who participated by wearing pajamas and donating canned goods for a great cause.

PIE MEETING – A date for the December meeting will be announced shortly.  All parents of K – 12 students are invited to attend.  Free childcare is provided.

Thank you to everyone that came out to shop at the Book Fair. We hope all of the kids enjoy their new books!  A special thank you to the people who volunteered their time to make this a great event!

Unable to attend the Scholastic Book Fair in person, no problem! We have arranged for an Online Book Fair as well. 11/08/2017-11/21/2017 | www.scholastic.com/fair

SAVE THE DATE – the Elementary School Holiday Fair will be happening on Friday, December 15th.  Planning is underway!!  This will be the traditional Holiday Fair that we all know and love! We will need many volunteers to make this event a success!

Annual Public Open House Showcase & Lottery Application Process Information

Foxborough Regional Charter School holds Public Open House events in January of each year. Additionally, public building tours are held on the second Friday of each month in October, November, March, April, and May.

Families who wish to tour our facility during the months of December, January and February are encouraged to attend our Annual Open House.

2017-2018 Open House Events

These important events are offered for the convenience of families, an evening that is an overview of our enrollment process, curriculum, student leadership and community service programs and a great opportunity to meet our staff and students!  These events begin promptly at 6PM.  The doors will open and tours will be available beginning at 5:30PM.

  • Wednesday, January 24, 2018; Grades 5-9 – MS/HS buildings
  • Thursday, January 25, 2018; Grades K-4 – Elementary School building

Seniors travel to Sister School in China

We had five students(3) young men and (2) young ladies from the Class of 2018 travel to China this year.

They departed this morning, November 16th and will return on November 28th.

Shoe Drive Halfway Mark Event

The grade that collects the most shoes gets a non-dress code day on Thursday Nov 30th.

There will be one (1) winning grade from each campus:

  • Elementary School
  • Middle School
  • High School

The Grade Contest has been extended to Monday, November 27th.

Boxes will be collected after 2nd period.
