Foxborough Regional Charter School holds an Annual Public Open House in January. This evening event includes an overview of the FRCS enrollment process, K-12 curriculum, student leadership and community service learning programs and is a great opportunity to meet staff and students!
The event begins promptly at 6:30PM, doors open at 6:00PM. A formal presentation by a Board Member, the Executive Director, the Director of Teaching and Learning and the Director of Students and Families is presented in the gymnasium. Immediately following the presentation, families have the opportunity to tour the school, visit classrooms and meet with teachers and Instructional Leaders in the Academic Resource Center to discuss curriculum. A special introduction for Kindergarten families continues in the gymnasium immediately following the formal presentation.

Emergency Closing Procedures
FRCS parents and guardians are encouraged to visit the websites of the tv/radio stations that carry our cancellation notices and sign up for text message alerts. This is a great way to stay informed, especially in the event of a power outage.
Please know that every attempt is made to make a decision on whether to change normal operating hours as soon as possible, and preferably the night before to give families an opportunity to plan accordingly. However, as you know, living in New England does not always provide us with the opportunity to make timely or accurate weather predictions. This is especially true as decisions are made based upon the conditions of our nearly 500 square mile regional district. Travel conditions in one area may be fine, while in other parts of our district they may be treacherous.
