Expansion Project News
Check Out Our Facilities Expansion Project!
Construction began on June 24th, 2010 to prepare the land on Route 140, adjacent to our front entrance, for a temporary modular building which will house our high school students for the next 18 months. During that time, construction will be underway to enlarge the current high school building section on the ground level as well as adding a second floor to that brick structure. The end result will give the school 27 new classrooms to replace the current modular buildings, a new administrative and programming area, and a new double gymnasium. The project also includes the major renovation of the current auditorium in the main building into a new media center; as well as the major renovation of the cafeteria/gym in the main building into a new state of the art cafeteria with a separate music/stage/performance area.
Fulfilling this mission is no easy task. It requires an extensive commitment of time, energy and financial resources that far surpass the funding we receive from the state. We depend on a mix of fundraising activities such as our annual golf tournament to support projects like this. A special thank you, in advance, for your support and we look forward to your continued interest in our success!
